Billy Martin's Camper Message
”Thanks
for your interest in the Bassett-Martin Tennis camp at the Big Bear Sports
Ranch. Even though our camp has stayed very popular, we still maintain
the personal attention and supervision that has characterized our program
when we first began 33 years ago. We feel that it is this emphasis on
the individual development of the camper that distinguishes our camp.
Many highly ranked national and sectional junior players have attended
our camp as well as thousands of young boys and girls, just getting started
playing the game of tennis”.
This will be our 8th year of providing resident camps at the ranch, our goal is to make the Bassett—Martin Tennis Camp a rewarding and enjoyable learning experience. We believe that our facilities and environment offers the perfect venue to accomplish that purpose! In planning our program, we use the same techniques that have been so successful at our UCLA team training. In addition there is a general emphasis on physical conditioning and the psychological approach to tennis.
